Here’s a track from UNKLE’s upcoming album, End Titles…Stories for Film. It’s a re-working of instrumental track “Chemistry” from their previous album, and now features Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age on vocals.

No commentsFionn Regan @ The Horseshoe (Sept 26, 2007)
My friend Vicente and I went to check out Irish singer-songwriter Fionn Regan. It was a great show, except for the annoying girl who kept asking me to move over, but who was talking continuously through each song.

John Vanderslice @ El Mocambo, Toronto (Oct 1, 2007)
Here are some pics and videos from the John Vanderslice concert from a couple of weeks ago.

Music, music, music…
There is too much music and not enough hours in the day.

Currently I am trying to ingest as much John Vanderslice as possible (I have no idea how I acquired Pixel Revolt, but thank God for shuffle mode). Almost daily I listen to Joseph Arthur, Nada Surf and Sufjan Stevens (check out this cool non-Sufjan-like track that he did for The Believer).

I’m fairly disappointed with Interpol’s latest [edit: I am now a fan - it was a grower!] but am surprised to be enjoying the new White Stripes album. Finally, Modeselektor’s new album “Happy Birthday” is really good and features a cool callaboration with Thom Yorke.
No commentsSondre Lerche @ MOD Club

Concert Buddy and I went to see Sondre Lerche at Toronto’s MOD Club on Friday, April 2. I’d seen him before while he was supporting the album Phantom Punch.

It was packed and a ton of fun! He’s a great performer and really knows how to keep a crowd entertained (I mean with things other than his music). Below are a couple of video clips that I took from the show.

I’ve never heard that song. (07/05/16)
Here are my current picks:
Sean Lennon - “Friendly Fire” (2006) (US)
Tipper - “Relish the Trough” (2006) (UK)

Rhett Miller - “The Instigator” (2002) (US)
